  2. Select Productivity Manager from the list of available Settings .

  3. In the window which opens, click on the server you want to connect to, or tick Use Alternative URL if you are connecting to another computer,

Note: The ID entered in here identifies which computer the information has come from in the Productivity Manager application, so clear identification is essential.

  1. Tick ‘Log usage’ and ‘Log Printing’.  If you are using AVA QA (Quality Assurance), you need to tick Log QA as well.

Delete

Note: If Productivity Manager is not on the same network as your work station, it will not show in the list above, and you will need to use the alternative URL option instead.

Use Alternative URL

Used when the Productivity Manager is running on a different network.  In this case, you would enter the IP address of the computer running Productivity Manager in the following format; https://IPaddress:portnumber.  An example would be https://95.146.169.242:64007

Adding file notes

Go to File Menu > Notes and apply the relevant details.

In addition to Design Name and Reference, you may wish to include other information such as the Author’s name, Company and Copyright details. This information is recorded within Productivity Manager, meaning you can efficiently retrieve these details by running a simple search on the database without having to locate and open the actual design file.
