Documents can be tiled across the screen in AVA, which allows several designs to be looked at simultaneously, which is very useful if you are copying and pasting between files.
Two tile functions are available to reorganise any open Design Windows, Sub Windows or Layout Windows either horizontally or vertically on the screen.
If you have your System Settings set to tab your documents, you may wish to drag each of the files you wish to be tiled on the screen out from the tabs. Your tabbing Settings are set in the General Settings .
When your documents are not tabbed, choose one of the following:
- Tile Windows - to lay the open windows out across and down the screen in a grid pattern
-
Tile Windows Vertically - to lay the open windows out across the screen in a column formation
The size of the windows will vary depending on the option chosen and the number of windows being tiled. Window tiling can be particularly useful when comparing each layer of a separation at the same time in separate windows. Alternatively, you can use the Split Views function.
