When cropping the design smaller, the number of ends or picks are decreased by cutting the design, reducing its dimensions. The design will be updated immediately and you may need to scroll the plans to show their remaining areas. When cropping the design bigger, the number of ends or picks are increased by cutting the design, increasing its dimensions. You will need to update the design and plans to see the change.
- Double click on the Crop Tool in the Tools Palette and enter the new dimensions needed in the width and height dialog boxes.
- Click OK and a box will be shown over the design.
- With the Crop Tool still selected in the Tools Palette, double click inside the box and the extra ends and picks will be added to the design.
- Click in the Pegplan Window and go to Edit Menu > Select All (⌘A).
- Go to Edit Menu > Copy (⌘C).
- Go to Edit Menu > Paste (⌘V). This will update the existing pegplan in the design.
- Enter any extra pattern required in the Pegplan Window and the design will be completed over the new area.
- Open the Threading Window and scroll across to the far right of the window. Check that the draft in the additional ends follows the same repeat pattern as the rest of the design and update it if not.
