Usually, files can be renamed simply by highlighting their name in a Finder Window and giving it a new name.  Profiles can be renamed in this manner too, however, this is not the recommended way of renaming then if you use Dynamic Text to tag prints with the name of the profile used.

Profiles made in AVA have an internal nam, which is what will display in the CMS Controller and print if you use Dynamic Text. In order to change this name after the profile has already been saved follow the below steps:

1. Navigate to the profile in the finder
2. Hold ^ (control key) and click on the profile and click open with ColorSync® . The below window will open: 
   
3. Navigate to the Multi-localised description strings line.
   
4. In the String column you can click on the current name and change it
   
5. Go to File Menu > Save as and insert your new profile name
