From choosing which tools appear in the Tools Palette and which items show in the menus, to switching on colour matching settings and applying Dot Gains. The Settings are very powerful, and each user should take the time to look through them and set them up.
Open the Settings from the AVA Menu. The following window will open:
The first thing to note is the toolbar of this window is completely customisable. The snapshot above shows the most simplified version of the Settings Window by having only the Navigator in it.
The Navigator provides easy access to all available Settings . From here, simply click on an icon to reveal its settings.
Once you have opened a preference pane, you can use the arrows in the top left and right hand corners of the window to navigate through the other Settings .
