This Palette is designed to add an extra, solid red layer and set a simple ‘ring’ marker brush, allowing the user to immediately annotate where faults or imperfections are in a design file.

The steps performed in the ‘Halftone Screen’ Palette

This Palette adds, selects and makes visible a new ‘red’ spot layer with 0% transparency after all other layers in the design file. It also sets the brush tool and a solid ring brush, which can be resized using the 1 & 2 keys.

How to use the ‘Fault Finder’ Palette

With a design document open, click the ‘Fault Finder’ palette and begin to draw rings to annotate on the new red layer.
