Pressure settings: Change the size and density of a brush stroke using your Wacom™️

Control the size and density by adjusting the pressure applied to your Wacom™️ Pen

The size and density of the chosen brush can be controlled by the pressure of the pen exerted on the Wacom™️ Tablet.

  • Pressure density - the tonal density of the chosen brush is increased the harder you press down with the pen; as you reduce the pressure, the tones created by the brush become lighter and softer. If you select a tonal brush, its size may vary a little, because the light edges of the brush fade to white as the pressure is reduced.
  • Pressure size - the diameter of the paint brush is increased the harder you press down with the pen; as you reduce the pressure, the diameter decreases. A tick next to either option in the Brushes Library action menu shows that they are active. Pressure Size and Density can be activated at the same time by making sure they are both ticked and produce an effect similar to the one below.
